I was recently contacted by a friend of a friend, to see if I could help them out. The person works for a small Production Company, based within the UK, who have produced multiple award winning documentaries, but who didn’t have any social media presence, and that included a website. Like many smaller companies, especially during this Covid Pandemic, their budget was a ‘shoestring’.
The concept was, that they required a presence, but they did not want to have an all singing and dancing website. Just the basics, a Home page, About US page and a Contact Us page. So, this was a straight forward assignment, and I included hosting on one of my servers which I have with 1 and 1 Ionos (UK), as well as sourcing them a domain name.
I like to keep the concept fairly simple, so anyone visiting this site will be able to navigate it without any problems. All photos that have been used, I have made sure that there is no Copyright issues.
The overall result was a huge hit with the clients, and they have recommended me to a colleague, who has booked me to build a website for their fledgling business which lies within Self Study.
